2022 NC Crime Stoppers Association Awards

Awards Criteria
Board Member of the Year: (WESLEY CLARK AWARD)
“In recognition of selfless devotion, persistent service, and significant contributions to a member Crime Stoppers Program.”
Qualifications:
- The nominee must be a board member associated with a Crime Stoppers Program that is an NCCSA member in good standing.
- The nominee must be a respected citizen with a reputation for integrity and community spirit.
- The nominee must have performed an unusual or extensive service in support of Crime Stoppers and this activity or service must have occurred between 07/01/21 to 06/30/22
Board Program of the Year:
“Recognizing an entire group of volunteers for their dedicated efforts toward promoting the local Crime Stoppers Program.”
Qualifications:
- The Nominee board must be a member in good standing of NCCSA.
- All board members must be respected citizens in their community.
- The program nominee must have performed outstanding service in support of Crime Stoppers and this activity or service must have occurred between 07/01/21 to 06/30/22
Coordinator of the Year:
“In recognition of outstanding performance and commitment, personifying a spirit of community cooperation and demonstrating qualities of leadership.”
Qualifications:
- The nominee must have been serving as the Coordinator of a Crime Stoppers Program at the time of the activity/contribution being recognized.
- The nominee’s Crime Stoppers Program must be a member in good standing of the NCCSA.
- The activity/contribution being cited must have occurred between 07/01/21 to 06/30/22
- The nominee must have displayed both outstanding commitment to the Crime Stoppers Program and the ability to work with the law enforcement, media, and civilian participants in Crime Stoppers.
- The nominee must have demonstrated leadership, dedication, initiative, responsibility, reliability, persistence, and integrity.
Most Innovative Fund Raising:
“For fund-raising activity or event, which successfully produced revenues for the Crime Stoppers Program.”
Qualifications:
- The event or activity must have occurred between 07/01/21 to 06/30/22
- Documentation describing the event must accompany the nomination.
Best Promotional Idea:
“For outstanding promotional idea or activity that has successfully promoted public awareness and support for the Crime Stoppers Program.”
Qualifications:
- The event or activity must have occurred between 07/01/21 to 06/30/22
- Samples of promotional items, ideas, or activities should accompany the nomination.
Media Award:
“For outstanding contribution by a media source (TV, radio, or print) to a Crime Stoppers organization.”. Occurring 07/01/21 thru 06/30/22

Entry Requirements:
*All entries must be received by Sept. 1, 2022 *Due to time constraints there are no exceptions to this requirement*
Coordinator and Board Member of the Year awards should be submitted in the narrative form detailing the accomplishments of the nominee. Fund-Raising/Promotional activity should detail the event and its impact on the program and community as well as denote the innovativeness of the activity.
